10 Apr KoKo NYC Summer Workshops
At KoKo NYC all kids are artists & inventors. We encourage playful and imaginative risk-taking by using real tools and recycled materials in our sustainability focused programs. Empowered by our Teaching Artists, kids see possibilities, problem solve, create, and explore.
Join KoKo NYC for summer workshops at the KoKo Lot, KoKo NYC’s repurposed lot and outdoor learning space in Brooklyn!
Workshops run Mondays to Fridays from 8:45AM – 2:15PM with Extended Day available from 2:15 – 6PM daily for an additional fee.
In Camp KoKo (for kids ages 5 – 7), kids engage in self-directed play, material exploration and building projects. Our aim is for kids to be deeply engaged in activities of their choosing and we recognize that this looks different for each kid!
In KoKo NYC’s Soap Box Workshop (for kids ages 8 – 14), kids work independently or in small groups to turn found objects and recycled materials into fully functioning gravity racers.
Camp KoKo Workshop Cost: $725/week ($580 for week of June 30th) ($60/day for Extended Day)
Soap Box Workshop Cost: $825/week ($660 for week of June 30th) ($60/day for Extended Day)
KoKo NYC workshops are an inclusive environment where all kids are welcome! We encourage participation from kids of all gender identities, neurodiverse backgrounds, and skill levels with tools. KoKo NYC Teaching Artists and staff represent a wide diversity of personal and professional experiences. We are proactive and intentional about our teaching approach and support of all KoKo kids.
