This summer Brooklyn Music School is proud to offer six weeks of camp for students ages 5 – 12, and one week of “Teen Week: Battle of the Bands” for students 13-17 years old.

For children ages 5 – 12, camp will run from July 6th – August 14th. The program runs 9 AM – 3:30 PM, with an extended day option until 6 PM.  Each two-week session features a Friday field trip in the first week and a showcase performance in the second week.

The themes for our 2-week sessions are:
Session 1 – Superheroes
Session 2 – Fantasy & Sci Fi
Session 3 – Cartoons & Videogames

Summer Institute (Ages 5-8) – Includes daily classes in Piano & Musicianship, World Percussion, Acting, Dance, and more!

Summer Intensives (Ages 9-12) – These Intensives give students the opportunity to focus in one of the following areas: Orchestra, Jazz, Rock Band, Musical Theatre, and Music Production & Songwriting.

For students ages 13 – 17, our “Teen Week: Battle of the Bands” will run one week only from August 10th – 14th, with classes and rehearsals from 10:30am-3:30pm.

Summer Teen Week: Battle of the Bands! (Ages 13-17) –  High school students will form multiple Rock Bands, collaborate to write their own original songs, and face off in a final performance in the BMS Playhouse. Audience members will vote for their favorite band and crown the winner.
