Serving children from Nursery through 8th Grade, we offer Spanish and Mandarin language programs at every grade level. Starting with Nursery Ones and Twos, our Montessori Trilingual program immerses children in English, Spanish, and Mandarin, guided by credentialed Montessori educators. As children progress to Preschool Threes and Junior Kindergarten, our dual-language immersion curriculum builds a robust foundation across academic areas, fostering language acquisition, literacy, and social skills.

Pine Street School’s inquiry-based and play-driven approach aligns with the IB Primary Years Program (PYP), designed to nurture curiosity, critical thinking, and collaboration. These skills prepare students for the dynamic and global nature of future learning and work environments.

Founded in 2014, Pine Street School is housed in a historic building near iconic landmarks like the New York Stock Exchange and Federal Hall. Our diverse community includes faculty from over 20 countries, speaking 16 languages, and families representing nearly 50 nations. Over 70% of our faculty hold advanced degrees and bring international teaching experience, ensuring a truly global perspective in every classroom.

With small class sizes, a student body of nearly 200 and counting, and personalized attention, we are committed to meeting the needs of each learner. We are proud to be part of the 5,000+ IB schools worldwide and one of the only authorized IB PYP schools offering dual-language tracks in downtown New York. Additionally, we are a candidate for the IB Middle Years Program (MYP), which will make us the only IB MYP school in the area once authorized.
