Tam Tam: Connecting Brooklyn Families Through Musical Play

At Tam Tam, we bring families together through joyful music and movement classes for babies, toddlers, and kids up through 5 years of age. In our award-winning, research-based Music Together® classes, your child learns the fundamentals of music in a playful, age-appropriate setting. We emphasize adult participation to sustain musical immersion, foster a shared musical journey and help parents understand important early musical milestones.

Each 45-minute class is filled with playful songs, rhythmic chants, lively dances, and fun instrument jams. We create an immersive musical experience, exploring diverse styles, rhythms, and languages that celebrate Brooklyn’s vibrant community—and inspire a love of music that lasts a lifetime.

Classes for Every Age:

  • Babies: Special classes for pre-crawlers up to 8 months, or join any mixed-age session.
  • Mixed-ages (0-5 years): Our family-style classes are where amazing memories are made! With skilled teachers who adapt to every age—from infants to preschoolers—these sessions let siblings and friends grow together through singing, dancing, and play.
  • Preschools: Tam Tam brings music and movement fun to daycares, preschools, and early learning centers! Our classes help kids grow in all the important ways—building motor skills, language, and social connections—while creating joyful experiences for teachers and families too.

  • Indoor classes in Fort Greene, Clinton Hill, and Bed-Stuy
  • Outdoor music classes in Fort Greene Park and Herbert Von King Park
  • Unlimited makeups!
