Code Ninjas Gowanus is a locally run franchise dedicated to building a vibrant community where kids can develop critical skills in coding, problem-solving, and STEM – all in a fun and engaging environment. At Code Ninjas Gowanus, we offer a variety of programs for children ages 5-14+ where no prior coding experience required:
JR Program: Designed for kids ages 5-7, this program introduces coding concepts through interactive, game-based learning. It encourages creativity and problem-solving using kid-friendly programming languages such as Scratch and CodeSpark. School year hours are 3:30-4:30 Monday through Friday and 10-11AM or 11AM-12PM on Saturdays. Summer hours are Tuesdays 4:00-5:00 and Saturdays 10-11AM or 11AM-12PM.
CREATE Program: For kids ages 8-14+, our curriculum is based on a belt system, like martial arts. Students advance through the different belts from white all the way to black, mastering increasingly complex coding concepts as they build video games along the way. Flexible scheduling is offered through our mobile app.
After-School Program: We offer convenient pickup from neighboring schools or drop-off options. This program runs from enrollment through the end of the school year, Monday through Friday from 2:30-6:00PM. It includes either our JR or CREATE coding curriculum, homework support and various STEM activities. Parents customize the number of days and choose if they prefer school pick up or drop off.
Day Camps: Perfect for most school holidays or breaks, our day camps keep kids learning and engaged with activities in coding, STEM, and game-building. Hours are 8:30AM – 3:30PM with extended hours available.
Summer Camps: We offer half day (9:00AM-12:00PM or 1:00PM-4:00PM) and full day (9:00AM-4:00PM) camps. Topics include Modding with Minecraft, Future Minds of AI, Ninja Robotics with LEGO, and more!
Birthday Parties: Make your child’s special day unforgettable with a custom-themed birthday party! Whether they’re into Minecraft, Roblox, or LEGO, we’ll design an exciting celebration around their favorite activities. Let us handle the planning, hosting, and cleanup- so you can relax and make memories with your child!
Parents’ Night Out: Need a night off? Drop the kids off with us for an evening of fun, including pizza, games, drinks and time with friends! Parents’ Night Out happens every 2nd Friday of the month. Enjoy your night out, and we’ll make sure the kids have a blast – just remember to pick them up!
