08 Nov Indoor Fun for Families in NYC
With the weather starting to turn and the clocks gone back, families are looking to make plans for indoor fun with their little ones. Below we are amazing choices, showcasing fabulous places for your kids to climb, create, swing, jump, play music, and generally have a great time, making new friends along the way!
Mozart for Munchkins
If you’d like to introduce your kids to classical music, jazz and bluegrass, this is a great way to do it! Mozart for Munchkins, an interactive concert series for children and their families, will be presenting concerts every Saturday and Sunday until December 16th! Witness the sound and splendor of the violin, piano, cello, brass instruments, acoustic folk instruments and a swinging jazz band up close! Carefully crafted to engage children of ALL ages (newborn and up) through storytelling, visualization, movement, special activities and props, our audiences will recognize some tunes, and have a chance to clap, stomp and sing along as well! Children are welcome to roll, crawl, squeal, and dance to their hearts’ content, while parents, grandparents, and caregivers sit back and unwind. While the setting is informal, the programming remains first rate; from Bach to Bernstein, Beethoven to Barber and a hint of bluegrass and jazz, Mozart for Munchkins features outstanding works performed by exceptional musicians—an unforgettable experience for the whole family! Every concert concludes with our infamous instrument petting zoo where children and their families will be able to meet and play the instruments.
These concerts sell out quickly! Reserve your tickets today: www.mozartformunchkins.com. Questions? Contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
