Family Focus: Wave Hill – A Public Garden & Cultural Center

Wave Hill really is a spectacular place to enjoy with your kids. With 28 acres of gardens, grounds and woodlands there is plenty to do to keep your little ones having fun. Overlooking the Hudson River and Palisades in the Bronx, it is a little bit of paradise in New York City.
Along with enjoying the beautiful surroundings at Wave Hill, families can use the space as a place to play, to draw, to write, to listen and open your senses to the richness of life itself.

Wave Hill run Family Art Projects every weekend in the Ecology Building from 10am – 1pm where families can explore the gardens and make nature-inspired masterpieces all year-round. These Family Arts Projects are free with admission to the grounds and admission is free Saturdays until noon.
So whether you and your family choose to visit Wave Hill to take in the surroundings, or specifically to take part in a Family Art Project or workshop, you most definitely won’t be disapointed.
