Sheep Meet & Greet

Join Friends of Tivoli Lake Pre­serve and Farm and the Trust for Gov­er­nors Island’s hor­ti­cul­ture team for a spe­cial sheep meet and greet on Gov­er­nors Island. Head to Ham­mock Grove to learn about all that it takes to man­age a flock of sheep and con­trol inva­sive plant species through regen­er­a­tive land principles.

Sketch­books and oth­er draw­ing mate­ri­als encour­aged for group art activ­i­ties with the flock! You’ll also have the oppor­tu­ni­ty to han­dle wool fresh from the farm (dona­tion-based).
