Family Art Moment: Dream Wilder with Us

Join us on the High Line to celebrate public space and public learning. The High Line and the Andrew Heiskell Braille and Talking Book Library unite to invite NYC families to read books, create art, and reflect on the park. Bring your family and experience storytelling sessions from NYPL librarians, sign up for an NYPL library card, and celebrate the High Line’s 15th birthday by completing an art project with High Line teaching artists!

Activities specialized for ages 5 – 12, all ages welcome. We will have braille and tactile materials, and skilled facilitators to welcome visitors with disabilities.

Instruction is primarily in English with some facilitation in Spanish and Mandarin when available. Speakers of all languages can still participate and enjoy this class due to the nature of the program.

If inclement weather is expected and the event will be canceled, we will notify registered participants via email by 5pm the day before the program.

Location:

The High Line Lawn
West 23rd Street and 10th Avenue
New York, NY 10011
