Family Art Day with Japan Society
Join us for a special Online Family Art Day! Led by an experienced teaching artist, children and their caregivers are invited to virtually explore Japan Society Gallery’s new exhibition, When Practice Becomes Form: Carpentry Tools from Japan, to learn about Japanese art and culture and become inspired to create their own architectural spaces. Families will then put that inspiration to use through a guided craft activity using simple materials from home. Roll up your sleeves and get ready for a fun-filled day of art!
$15/$12 members. Recommended for ages 6-10 year olds and their caregivers. Only one registration per family is required. Space is limited to 20 families. Registration includes one complimentary adult admission to on-site gallery exhibition. Children under the age of 16 may visit the gallery for free.
