School of the Blessed Sacrament
The property
The School of the Blessed Sacrament strives to educate 21st century learners and create future leaders in an environment that is rooted in faith and strengthened by its community. At The School of the Blessed Sacrament, learning is not a spectator sport.
Founded in 1903 on Manhattan's storied Upper West Side, The School of the Blessed Sacrament serves students in PK3 - 8th grade. We celebrate diversity and encourage love of God, self and others. Our parish, families, faculty and staff collaborate to educate the hearts and minds of our students and empower them to embrace challenges in a loving, faith-filled environment.
Our curriculum incorporates strong ethical values and the development of each child’s academic potential. We integrate a traditional educational program with a focus on STREAM (science, technology, engineering, religion, arts, music) in order to provide a well-rounded learning experience for the whole child. We create opportunities for students to become problem solvers and critical thinkers while encouraging collaboration and the development of resiliency and independence.
We offer a robust arts and music program with several theatrical productions and art shows each semester. Our specialty classes include Art, PE, Music, Library, Technology, Spanish,
Latin, Guidance, and Theatre Arts In addition, our after school offerings include enrichment, Chess, and more.
