Pusteblume offers German or Spanish language immersion, and some of our children participate in both programs. We are a licensed, non-profit, independent preschool for children ages 2 to 5 and also offer activity-based, language immersion programs for school-age children. Our after-school and enrichment programs are open to students from other schools.

We created Pusteblume with both the parent and child in mind and provide flexibility for working parents, as well as for parents who stay at home with their children but want them on some days to interact with others in a language immersion environment.

On average, Pusteblume offers 30% more school days than other private schools. Our non-profit structure demands that extra revenue get re-invested into making the school better for our children and the community at large.

The Pusteblume curriculum is built around inquiry and exploration in the classroom, the school community and the vibrant city that surrounds us. Our licensed, native-speaking faculty teaches music, movement, literacy and visual arts in a fun and warm learning environment. We combine the best of international and American teaching methods in a nurturing setting that cultivates the growth and development of your child.

Pusteblume International Preschool's beautifully appointed, light filled facility features a large playroom which allows children to move freely even when the weather doesn't play nice. We are conveniently located near multiple playgrounds and parks and are steps away from the A, C, E, 1,2,3, and L train location.
