Children are asked to bring their lunch for the full day session. When the weather permits, we have lunchtime outdoors at a small park around the corner. Children who attend more than one day or week will always be given new projects to do — no repeats!

Meeting 2-3 times a week, tots and moms boogie and bond -forging new friendships for life. Poppyseed mini-Camp -the perfect bridge between home and nursery school.” (babies, toddlers, two’s- grouped by age, accompanied by adult)
In 1986, Poppyseed Pre-Nursery was established to meet the demands of parents yearning for more consistent social contact for themselves and their child. Grouped according to age, classes of babies, toddlers, two’s or 3’s, accompanied by a parent or caregiver, meet 2 or 3 times a week, providing individual attention and the continuity and consistency needed for forming special friendships. Poppyseed’s beautiful facility, which has the warmth of the home, the participation of a parent or caregiver, and the frequency of contact, add to the child’s sense of security and self-confidence. The nursery becomes an extension of the familiar family environment, providing the perfect bridge between the home and future nursery school experience. Age appropriate activities which foster self- assurance and creativity include singing and dancing with instruments, accompanied by guitar or piano, exploration of the sensory world of art, snack and story-time and interactive play with a variety of toys and a mini-gym. A professional, highly educated staff helps children learn at their own pace in a perfect setting for each child’s growth.
