Since 2011, Walt Frasier (Artistic Director of Eight Is Never Enough, Improv 4 Kids)  has offered comedy classes and camps for kids & teens at the Broadway Comedy Club. Every day includes two sessions learning and playing Improv warm-up, technique and performance games. Campers then transform stories of personal experience and observation into original stand-up comedy routines.

Our #1 rule is “HAVE FUN but never at another’s expense!” In this safe space, campers (ages 7-17) discover creative writing, critical thinking, public speaking, team dynamic, leadership skills and self confidence. We use the same workshops to train corporate teams Team Building, Leadership, Sales and Service.

Starting June 29, you can register for one, two or up to all nine weeks. Tuition includes daily lunches and snacks, a weekly showcase (video provided for every performance) for invited audience of friends, family and industry pros, and admission to a public professional Improv show performed by teachers, counselors and their colleagues. Check out weekly classes and vacation camps offered year round.
