SUMMARY:MOCACREATE: Writing From the Heart with Teaching Artist Yu Rong
DESCRIPTION:Join us on an adventure into Chinese characters and calligraphy with Teaching Artist Yu Rong! With over 4,000 years of history, Chinese characters have a lot to share with us. Ed Young explored just a few in his book Voices of the Heart on display in the special exhibit. Practice your own heart-writing, and maybe learn a new favorite word!

Please note, this workshop is designed as a casual, drop-in event accessible to families with children ages 6-14.
Location:
Museum of Chinese in America
215 Centre Street
New York, NY 10013
