SUMMARY:Nature Exploration: Pollinator Month at Prospect Park
DESCRIPTION:Join Prospect Park Alliance for nature education programs at the Prospect Park Audubon Center, the first urban Audubon Center in the nation as we explore the question, “What is a pollinator?” with park Naturalists.
Butterfly Watch, 10 am–1 pm: Learn about common butterflies in NYC, their life cycle and how they help plants thrive in Brooklyn’s Backyard and beyond.
Animal Encounter, 11 am–12 pm: Join Alliance Naturalists in learning more about the animals in the Audubon Center’s collection. This program starts promptly at 2 pm.
Nature on the Go, 12–1 pm: Join an Alliance Naturalist for Nature on the Go activities to explore the park and learn about the nature around us.
