22 Jun 43rd Street Kids Preschool
43rd Street Kids Preschool is a progressive school with an integrated curriculum developed with a Bank St. approach and influenced by the Reggio Emilia schools in Italy. We have programing for children 9 months to 5 years. Our morning, afternoon and full day preschool classes, for 3’s and 4’s, offer an enriched and stimulating curriculum in a nurturing environment. Preschoolers have swim lessons twice a week as well as gardening, music and creative movement. Programs for 1’s and 2’s include adult/toddler classes and a “drop off” class for 2 year olds. Over the course of 9 months our toddler classes offer an opportunity for children and adults to bond with each other and the teacher, while exploring art activities, sand & water, blocks, dress-up, songs, stories and more. Classes for 2 year olds include a weekly swim lesson. Our exceptional staff members have backgrounds in early childhood education and extensive experience working with children. They continually strive to grow as teachers through conferences and workshops. 43rd Street Kids is a parent co-operative school with an option to enroll without joining the co-operative. We are licensed by the City of New York and have served the community for over 30 years.
